嚴復文集 · 鞏金甌
《鞏金甌》，是一首由嚴復填詞、溥侗譜曲的傳統雅樂類歌曲，是清朝的法定正式國歌，也是中國歷史上第一首法定正式國歌，於宣統三年八月十三（1911年10月4日，武昌起義前六日）由清政府頌定，它是當時憲法內容的一部分。後人取其首句,稱為《鞏金甌》。清政府以此為自己行將就木的封建統治歌功頌德,粉飾太平。這首國歌頒布不到一年,辛亥革命即爆發,清政府統治被推翻。

Firm and Stable be the "golden cup" (which means the empire) domed by the Celestial concave. In it men and things happily prosper. Glad are we who live in the time of Purity.
